An Interview with Orbit the Dog, who Plays Digby. Interviewer: Hi, Orbit, thanks for joining us. Orbit: You're welcome. Interviewer: What's Pushing Dasies about? Orbit: It's a show about a dog named Digby who gets hit by an automobile, but brought back to life by his owner Ned. However, if Digby touches his owner again, he will die. So, Digby spends the majority of the show trotting around, hanging out with the owner, and using his doggy prowess not to get too close to Ned. It's the best show on tv. Interviewer: Isn't the show about Ned, a pie-maker who can bring people back to life who solves crimes? Orbit: No, I'm pretty sure it's about the dog. Interviewer: What's your favorite thing to do on the set? Orbit: I really like hanging out in my trailer, and there is a nice lady who fluffs my coat before I go on camera, she's great. Oh, and I get a treat every time I bark on cue. Interviewer: Do you watch the show? Orbit: Yes, every Wednesday night, I lay out in my doggie bed with some of my friends, and we watch the show. Most of it is pretty boring, except the parts where I come in. Interviewer: What's the script like? Orbit: Well, mostly it's "blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, Hey Digby, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, Digby, come here, blah blah blah." Interviewer: Thanks for your time, Orbit. Orbit: Sure. Next time, bring me something to eat or sniff.
