Famous for: Singing voice (coloratura soprano, a style of singing that features elaborate trills/embellishments); four-octave vocal range

Notes: Born Kristi Dawn Chenoweth. A former beauty queen (Miss Oklahoma City University & runner-up for 1991 Miss Oklahoma). After college, she was offered a full scholarship to Philadephia's Academy of Vocal Arts but accepted a part in an off-Broadway play Animal Crackers in 1993, for which she won Metropolitan Opera National Council Award for Most Talented Young Singer.
