Because ABC cancelled Pushing Daisies after 10 episodes in the second season, it left 3 episodes un-aired (Window Dressed to Kill, Water and Power, Kerplunk). The last aired episode (The Norwegians episode 10) was aired December 17, 2008. It' been a little more then 4 months since a new episode aired. But there is finally some good news about these 3 episodes:
The final three episodes will air Saturdays at 10:00 PM Eastern/9:00 PM Central on ABC starting Saturday, May 30, 2009!!!!!!!!!!!

I live in New Zealand where we are behind in a lot of the popular television series shown in the States. When they moved Pushing Daises to a later time (1030PM) I was worried that the show was canceled. To know that the show was canceled almost a year ago is disheartening as we are only half way through the second season here. I have to say I am extremely disappointed in the networks decision to cancel such an entertaining and innovative series. It is so different, nothing like it on TV, the writers kept it fresh and creative. Now I can only hope that some European country picks it up (like Germany did with Baywatch) and brings it back!

After the show struggled in the ratings during its second season, Bryan Fuller said that should ABC not pick up the series for additional episodes he would release comic books, and maybe a movie, based on the show in order to wrap up outstanding stories for fans. Warner Bros. has given the okay to Fuller to produce comic books. Fuller has stated that the "third" season will be twelve issues long and is a fresh take on the zombie genre starring all of the characters from the show. It will be published by DC Comics.

here's what wikipedia said:
The second season premiered on October 1, 2008. As ratings declined, ABC opted not to order additional episodes beyond the second season's initial thirteen. By November 20, 2008, Fuller had confirmed that ABC had cancelled Pushing Daisies, though he also mentioned the possibility of wrapping up storylines in a comic book series or a movie.
The last scheduled episode of Pushing Daisies aired on December 17, 2008, while three episodes remain unaired. ABC will reportedly air them in the summer of 2009

Am I the only one jealous of Anna Friel/Chuck?
Anna Friel is absolutely gorgeous and I adore her accent.
And Chuck has the most amazing clothes and the best, most cheerful personality. Not to mention she was brought back to life by her adorable childhood sweetheart.

Yes her clothes ARE fabulous. But you do realize they're straight out of the costume designers imagination and she doesn't wear clothes like that in real life!
I wonder if she can buy her character's clothes after the season's over? Anyone here work in Hollywood who knows the answer?

I'm a huge fan. Bzzz was a tad too frenetic for me and I think anyone who had never seen the show before probably left with their head spinning.
The other episodes so far...have been wonderful and dare I even say it...getting more brilliant if that's even possible.
I especially liked the gag with all the clowns in the waterlogged car.
The nun who cursed because the afterlife wasn't what it was supposed to be.
A taxidermist with pet animals in human clothes.
But probably first and foremost...dialogue that sings, actors who play it with nuance, and a romance that makes you just want to reach out and hug the person next to you.
Looking forward to the rest of the season.

I thought tonight's episode was just awesome! Was a little slow at the beginning for those of us who know the show. I understand why they had to recap, but then it really got going! Kristin was hysterical spoofing "The Sound of Music" I LOVE IT!!!

It's sad how dead this wiki is. We should go around to other PD boards and recruit people. I just love the show and wish I had people to chat with, but I'd rather do it here because I'm on Wetpaint often enough. Wednesday's show was great, got to love that Olive. : )
